Nevena Aleksovski has a BA in painting from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and an MA in cultural studies from the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana. She is active in the fields of drawing, painting, illustration, art zines, and art pedagogy. She is a pedagogue at the Škuc Gallery and collaborates with the Alkatraz Gallery in preparing, realizing, and organising projects for children and young people. She is the co-organiser of the Reciklart art festival of recycling and DIY culture as well as the organiser of the creative and educative program for young people Zinkubator. She has had multiple independent and group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad. She illustrated the poetry collection Ljubica Rolanda Barthesa (2015) by Ana Makuc, awarded with the Veronika Prize in 2016.
