Urška Jež

Urška Jež has a BA in culturology and an MA in NGO management. She has been working with the City of Women since 2006; since 2014 as the executive producer. Since 2016, she has been involved in the preparation of the #8MarchEveryDay teaching materials. Prior to that, she was the executive producer of the Animateka International Animated Film Festival. Between 2006 and 2010, she collaborated with the 2 Reels – Association for Reanimation of Storytelling, producing film education content as part of the culture and art education programme Slon. Between 2009 and 2010, she helped develop the programme for Kulturstik: A Pilot Project on Introducing New, Contemporary Arts Education Content and Methods in Primary School Curricula. Since 2005, she has been working as an animator, mentor and youth camp leader: the Pinesta, d.o.o. Health Colony, Novigrad (2005–2010), and the Marindolus Kranj Youth Organisation (since 2010). She is also the author of the study Kulturno-umetnostna vzgoja in nevladni sektor v kulturi (Arts Education and the NGO Sector in Culture, 2017).
