Anja Salomonowitz

Anja Salomonowitz was born in 1976 in Austria. She studied directing and editing at the film and television department at Vienna Academy for Music and Applied Arts. Since 1997 she has made five short, less noticed films on video, and a longer documentary film You Will Never Understand This, which attracted the attention of both audiences and critics: some call her film the best Austrian film of the year.
