Milica Antić Gaber

Milica Antić Gaber is a sociologist working at the Department of Sociology (Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana). She has worked there since 1992 as a young researcher, and then since 1998 as a lecturer for several different subjects as well as a coordinator of the programme Sociology of Gender (at the Faculty of Arts) for the Humanities and Social Science doctoral programme at the University of Ljubljana. For several years, she worked as a researcher at the Peace Institute in Ljubljana and as a lecturer at the Institutum Studiorum Humanitatis in Ljubljana, as well as at the Central European University in Budapest. She has been a guest lecturer at the Centre for Women’s Studies in Belgrade, the Inter-University Centre in Dubrovnik, the Centre for Gender Studies at the University of Novi Sad, and has worked as a guest researcher at both the Birkbeck College at the University of London and Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. She is the author of numerous books and articles dealing with feminism and gender equality.
