NATHÁLIA MELLO

Nathália Mello, a Brazilian performance practitioner, lives and works in Rio de Janeiro. She graduated in Theatre Direction from the Rio de Janeiro Federal University in 2007 and completed her Master’s degree in Dance Theatre: History of the Body at Trinity Laban in London in 2010. Nathália’s current research explores territories of water and soil. Abscene: A young female from the Tupinomos tribe from “Water Which Hides Itself” says “I do” today is a theatrical performance of the politics of representing self; in development since May 2010.
