Rosie Dennis

Rosie Dennis began her career as a writer, poet and director, and over recent years she withdrew from classic theatre projects to become intensely engaged in a comprehensive artistic expression as a performer, improviser and vocalist. Indeed, she explores vocal expressions that are – in addition to movement – her strongest expressive tool. Rosie Dennis has performed at such eminent art festivals as The Next Wave Festival (Melbourne), Electrofringe (Newcastle NSW), The NOW Now (Sydney NSW), The National Review of Live Art (Glasgow) and the Inbetween Time Festival (Bristol). Currently she is teaching drama to refugee children and teenagers at Sydney’s Auburn Migrant Resource Centre, and is a regular member of the Omeo Dance Studio and Space 3, both of which encompass established Sydney-based artists.
