25th Anniversary of the International Festival of Contemporary Arts – City of Women and the International Festival of Computer Arts

Anniversary Programme
// in English //

This year, the City of Women Festival and the International Festival of Computer Arts are celebrating their 25th anniversaries. The purpose of the programme marking the common anniversary is to connect both festivals and raise issues regarding their history and future by outlining the former, current and future cross-sections between feminism and new technologies.

The programme will start on the bus from Ljubljana to Maribor with an online performance by YOUNG GIRL READING GROUP and a radio show by Marina Gržinić. A lecture by Bogna M. Konior is to follow in Maribor, then the presentation of a project by Špela Petrič and a guided tour of the MFRU exhibition. To wrap things up, we will enjoy sharing a birthday cake. The programme also includes an online lecture by Olivia Lucca Fraser (Laboria Cuboniks), which will be available on the web sites of City of Women, IFCA and Šum journal.
