Les Miserables

In this film, Mattuschka works exclusively with animation. The cheerful cartoon
characters Mimi and Max have a childlike-bisexuality, even when the subject
seems to be the desire for and differences from the other sex. The characters
are all spoken by the same voice (Mara Mattuschka's), and the characters'
representation is therefore channelled into a single and fictive form of
expression...
