JENNIE KLEIN

Jennie Klein is a theoretician and writer in the area of contemporary performance, gender, and identity, and is currently working as researcher and professor at the School of Art/College of Fine Art, Ohio University. She has won a prize for the development of training in the area of art history through the internet and is a member of the editorial committees of Art Papers and Performance Art Journal (PAJ) and of the magazine Genders. Her articles are published in various publications at home and abroad. She is a guest lecturer at art schools, academies, summer camps, and conferences. She has edited several theoretical books, amongst others, Pisma Linde M. Montano (2005). She is currently working on a large Live Art history anthology entitled Live Art in the UK:  Histories and Practices,together with Deirdre Heddon, Ph.D.
