Lidija Vasiljević

Lidija Vasiljevic (1971) was born in Belgrade, Serbia. She graduated in Psychology and became an activist and a psychotherapist. She received a post-graduate degree in politics combining research in psychotherapy and feminism. She has worked on a variety of issues in the field of international women’s human rights, including: violence against women, women in the media, sex trafficking, feminist theology, and women’s economic development. She has worked for a variety of organizations (The Association for Women’s Initiatives (AWIN), the ATC Anti-Trafficking Centre, etc.) and has contributed to the “Feminist Alphabet” project, an effort to publish works from 36 young authors.
